About the catering consultant and founder
Hana Otsuka-King has more than 15 years of experience in the catering and hospitality industry in both São Paulo, Brazil and in London, UK.
She started her career in this industry in São Paulo when she ran her own company which specialised in catering for corporate events for up to 1,000 guests such as coffee breaks for business meetings and celebrations, themed meals for T.V. series and magazine launches, cocktails for theatre celebrations, meals for medical congress and many more.
Since moving to London in 2007 she has had a variety of experiences within the Food & Drinks sector ranging from front-of-house staff, supervision and management, through running the kitchen for pubs and bars, to providing business consultancy for independent coffee shops. She has also run her own artisan coffee shop, a pop-up coffee shop and a coffee corner in the heart of the City of London.
